Checked in late, and the experience unraveled quickly—room smelled terrible, like urine, and cleanliness was a distant hope. The furnishings didn’t match the online photos. It was disappointing. On the upside, some staff were friendly, and I felt safe walking barefoot. Unfortunately, loud neighbors ruined any chance of rest; police were even called! Breakfast options were limited, too. A key card issue added to the frustration, and some hallways were grimy. What could have been a decent stay turned into a series of uncomfortable events. Not a place I'd rush back to anytime soon.

I really loved how easy it was to find great restaurants and interesting places to walk around, with amazing spots like the Birmingham Zoo just over 5 km away and several eateries like Meat and Three Cafeteria less than a 5-minute drive. It was really comfy staying there, with helpful facilities and a decent breakfast. The only thing that could've been better was the room condition as it could use a bit of an upgrade.

The location was super convenient, close to the interstate. The staff were nice and helpful, and our room was clean and smelled good. They’re planning renovations, which is needed since the hallways had a weird smell. The breakfast could’ve had more options, though. it was a decent stay with potential for improvement!

Disappointing experience. Check-in was chaotic; our initial room was already occupied. Furniture updates are overdue—peeling chair and unclean bathroom. Staff reaction was dismissive when I reported it. Breakfast was lackluster; spoiled eggs and expired juice left a bad taste. The noise levels were intrusive; thin walls made it hard to sleep. On the upside, the bed was comfortable and the location convenient. The hallways were clean and had a pleasant scent, which was refreshing. basics like soap and proper shower drainage were overlooked. For the price, I expected more. This place needs serious attention to customer experience.

The location was excellent, close to food and shopping, but the pool was closed during my stay. Breakfast lacked variety, leaving much to be desired.

During my recent stay at La Quinta, there were some aspects that I really appreciated and others that left much to be desired. Let's start with the positives - the room was surprisingly spacious and clean, making it a comfortable place to relax after a long day of traveling. The bed was also very cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep. I particularly enjoyed the spacious bathroom with a great shower and the comfortable chairs provided in the room. On the other hand, there were several areas that definitely need improvement. The cleanliness of the hotel was a major issue, with dirty floors, blood on the curtains, and overall lack of cleanliness in the rooms. The presence of bugs and mold on the windows only added to the discomfort. The breakfast options were quite limited and unappealing, and the malfunctioning bathroom facilities, like the toilet not flushing properly, made the stay even more inconvenient. One of the most frustrating experiences was dealing with the staff and their lack of attention to detail. From being given the wrong room number key to having to walk back and forth due to simple errors, the service was not up to par. the issue with hot water in the shower and the overall lack of maintenance in the hotel made the stay quite disappointing. La Quinta has potential with its convenient location and comfortable room amenities, but the cleanliness and maintenance issues need to be addressed urgently to provide a more pleasant experience.

We had a lovely stay at a hotel in a convenient location near restaurants and shopping. The staff, especially the front desk, were friendly and helpful throughout our romantic escape. The spacious and easy-to-access bathroom was a pleasant surprise, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
There were some drawbacks during our visit. The air unit was not functioning properly, and we struggled to get hot water for our showers.

We hit up the RTJ Golf Trail and the convention center. The golf was lit, and the center had mad vibes. Perfect spot for a squad vacay, bro.
They need to step up the party scene, add a chill rooftop hangout or something for us young folks to vibe out at night.

the hotel was pet friendly with a nice grassy area for our furry friends. our suite was spacious with a modern bathroom. the pool was a good size and the continental breakfast got us started for the day.

We were particularly impressed with the pet walk area and the convenience of the hotel's location near food, shopping, and the interstate. The breakfast provided was adequate for our needs, and we appreciated the fresh and cool room with comfortable beds. it was a great stay as business travelers and a perfect place to relax after weeks in the field.
The only issue we had was that our request for a second-floor room was not possible due to high demand caused by Hurricane Ida evacuees. However, the hotel's policy of not renting the first floor with pets made it difficult for us to navigate with our new puppy who was not yet trained on a leash.
